Dear Christian Parents ❤️

Dear Christian parents,

I write this letter to encourage you throughout your journey raising your children. I would like to begin with this Bible verse to uplift you:

“Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands.” Psalms 127:4 (NLT)

Your children are great gifts from God, uniquely designed to have a future with Him.

I understand the challenge of raising your children in the Christian faith, speaking from my own experience. I did not like going to church once I hit high school. I really struggled with the fact that I came from a Christian family and that people knew we were Christians. There was no escape from pretending to be something that I wasn’t. Through the troubles of school, which led to self-harm, suicidal tendencies, and severe anxiety and depression, it was a great strain on my family to keep encouraging me to follow the Christian faith. But I am here today, 30 years old, having wrestled through those school years of not wanting to go to church and struggling to find my own faith. I can tell you that prayer is a literal lifesaver.

I want to encourage all Christian parents to fast and pray for your children, and to speak life over them. Remind them of God’s promises in the Bible. Please don’t ever give up on your children having a Christian faith. Of course, they can make their own decisions, but try to do everything to encourage them and not to give up.

Here are some practical tips for Christian parents:

  1. Fast and Pray: Dedicate time to fast and pray for your children’s spiritual growth.

  2. Speak Life: Regularly speak positive, faith-filled words over your children.

  3. Biblical Reminders: Remind them of God's promises found in the Bible.

  4. Persevere: Never give up on your children's journey of faith, even when it seems tough. They will ultimately make their own choices, but your encouragement matters.

We have got this together 🤗

Even though it’s hard to believe but God is good all the time.

With love and prayer

Zoe x
